PEGASUS  CAMPS  2010

SUMMER - June 7 - 10
                    June 14 - 17

WINTER -   Dec. - 27 - 30

9A-2P  daily, includes riding,  stable and classroom.
This is a unique hands on experience for children and
adults.(children under 7 must have an active adult in
attendance)

RIDING - one hour will be allotted to riding under the
direction of an experienced adult instructor.  Our camp
riding is less formal and exposes campers to a variety
of activities which may include English, Western,
side-saddle,games, etc., depending on the groups interest
and ability

STABLE - Campers will learn basic chores such as
mucking out, grooming, tacking and un-tacking and
bridling. They will also learn about feeding and stable
management. Students will be in stalls working with
horses.

CLASSROOM - Students meet in the schools air
conditioned classroom.   Topics  may include breeds,
colors, ailments, conformation,riding theory, nutrition,
etc. Students will also be allowed to discuss topics of
interest to them. We have many visual aids available.
Campers can enjoy crafts and games. Campers should
provide a lunch to eat.

Cost: $250 per child, per week
Boot rental - $2.50 per day
Helmet rental - $2.50 per day   

REQUIRED ITEMS -  Boots with a heel, approved
helmet, which can be rented.   Riding attire, jeans are
O.K.  at camp; Weather appropriate clothes, sweat shirt,
jacket, etc. Dress to be outside. PLEASE CHECK WITH
US BEFORE PURCHASING ANY ITEMS, WE MAY
HAVE THEM FOR LESS AT OUR TACK SHOP.
